Lisa Milbrath
Lisa is an IPTPA Certified Instructor, Certified Rating Specialist & Silver Medalist at the US Open. She specializes in player development programs for individuals, small groups & large clubs. She has helped strengthen clubs in many states across the country. Her passion is evident in her dedication, enthusiasm & commitment to the sport and Surf N Turf. Strengthening fundamentals skills in all levels of pickleball players, and preparing them for tournaments physically and mentally are all part of her instruction. “As much fun as competing is, the joy and happiness I feel from teaching and helping others with their game and their individual goals is more rewarding".
Craig Palermo
Craig is a certified IPTPA instructor who believes that all pickleball should be fun. Whether drilling, taking lessons, or playing for the gold medal, all should be done wearing a smile. Craig has been a gold and silver medalist at Nationals. He is looking forward to his 4th Surf N Turf experience.
Keith West
Keith is a retired high school physical education teacher and boys' basketball coach in the Salt Lake City School District. He started playing pickleball after retiring in October 2015 and quickly became a 4.5-level player. He received his PPR teaching certification at the professional level in August 2023 and has been teaching at Espire Sports in Prescott, AZ. Keith remains an active tournament player at the 4.5 level and has won two bronze medals at Nationals in men’s and mixed categories.

Dee’s love for the sport of pickleball spans many elements - 5.0 player, certified instructor, tournament management and consultant for Pickleball Tournaments. Surf N Turf and those attending the event hold a special place in her heart - it’s a place where people arrive at a gorgeous destination to relax, play pickleball, learn from encouraging pro players and many fun events to meet people - leave with amazing friendships! Dee is back to celebrate the Surf N Turf 10th Anniversary! Original Pro from the first trip, it wouldn't be the same without her.

Sandals are for 2 people in Love, so if you don't love your roommate, you should at least like them as you will be sharing a King bed. Singles are handled case by case -- please contact me if you are a single wishing to attend as a single (must pay double occupancy rate). All participants must book with Gail Scoggins/Cruise N Vacation Deals to be eligible for tourney, clinics, open play and all group promotions. Your non-playing roommate is more than welcome to join the group and participate in all non-related pickleball activities. Player participation is limited to 50 players so all players will have adequate court time.
Friends and family (adults only) are more than welcome to join the group for social interaction. In the keeping of the spirit of pickleball, we will all agree to mentor newbies and they are welcome to play during open play.
*Room rates and ongoing promotions can change daily. Group promotions remain intact. All rooms are king beds only designed for couples. There are no discount for singles booking a room. Singles may attend only by paying double occupancy rate and all singles must be approved by Sandals on an individual basis and not guaranteed. A $400 deposit holds your room, and confirms your entry for all pickleball events. No penalty for cancellations made 31 days before travel. We will confirm room rates and promotions with you BEFORE PROCESSING YOUR DEPOSIT as rates and promotions can change daily.

If you should decide to book another stay at a Sandals Resort while on property as a solo trip, please tell them that you work with a Travel Agent and you need printed reservation information to pass along to me. Loyalty and Travel bookings can NOT be used for future pickleball trips and come with some specifications that you may want to discuss with me first. If you decide to move forward with the booking on property, I can service your booking and help you with your entire vacation experience. The resort can only book your room and will not service your entire vacation booking.
